The only reason you should buy any kind of pickup product is when you need help fixing a sticking point in your game. There are a lot of great products out there such as audio interviews, filming of real approaches on dvd, and ebooks on different methods. Even though there are some really good products sold on the net, you’ll be wasting your money unless you’re trying to fix one of your sticking points.
There are too many guys out there that are reading one ebook followed by another and then by another without getting good at any of them. And that’s when it becomes a waste of money. If all you’re doing is reading one ebook after another and not actually doing any approaches you’re not going to figure out what your sticking points are.
Also nearly every ebook features a different method of pickup. You should become proficient with one method before you ever read about another method. Too much pickup information will be in your head from reading so many ebooks. It will only clutter your thinking while in set. There will be too many conflicting theories rolling around. That will only hurt your sponteneity.
I recommend taking a bootcamp. If you can’t currently afford one, then you should save a certain amount of money each month so that you will be able to afford one in the near future. In the meantime you should buy one ebook so that you can learn just one method.
The next step is to do at least 30 to 40 approaches per month. You should document each approach in a pickup journal and write down what you did right, what you did wrong, and what you can do better next time in a similar situation.
And when you figure out what certain sticking points that you have, then you can buy individual audio interviews that address almost any imaginable weakness in your game. Of course then you need to do more approaches and have more interactions with women so that you can implement the advice on the audios.
